CD 26 CANDIDATE JONATHAN BAILEY STANDS WITH DIANNE MORALES FOR MAYOR UNION

Campaigns are workplaces and campaign staffers are workers. It is in recognition of this sentiment and in solidarity with workers everywhere that Jonathan Bailey and the Jonathan for Queens campaign announce our support of the Dianne Morales For Mayor Union.

We believe these staffers when they say the campaign was a toxic environment where they were not heard, seen, or respected. Though many of us supported Dianne’s candidacy, we are first committed to building a more dignified New York and a more just world. When campaigns fail to uphold the values that they are fighting for, we must hold those campaigns accountable.

As a working candidate organizing Amazon’s unrecognized union, Jonathan sees the fight for workers as central to what we are doing. We look forward to continuing our work with these talented organizers and invite those who are looking for a new political home to reach out to the Jonathan for Queens team.
